In June 2019, NEWAsia Solutions Limited was accredited as a Verification Body (VB) of Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), with the VB number of VB154010, and the SLCP assessments performing of Mainland China and Taiwan areas.
SLCP is a multi-stakeholder program, aiming to improve working-conditions within the global apparel and footwear sectors. SLCP has over 200 signatories, including manufacturers, brands, NGOs, standard holders, (inter) governmental organizations and service providers. SLCP provides a converged assessment framework to collect Social Labor data and eliminate the audit fatigue.
